Data Challenges Facing Customers Beer and Pizza night – July 21
Please join us for a very informative presentation and discussion on the Data Challenges facing our customers today. This will be the first of a series of “beer and pizza” nights I will be hosting in the Canberra office for our partners starting this July. During these sessions the LOB (Oracle Line of Business) leads will present on a range of topical subjects and cover the customer challenges, Oracle solutions and potential market opportunities for your business.
Join us on Thursday 21st July to talk Data Challenges with you and your teams.
According to a study conducted with The Economist Intelligence Unit – Forbes Research, only 12% of executives feel they understand the impact data will have on their organizations over the next three years. Traditional enterprise analytics platforms have not been able to address the challenge of effectively using all the data now being sourced as the volume, variety and velocity of data increased. To address this challenge, organisations need to close the gap between their ability to source data and their ability to consume it.
This challenge may involve either having systems that don’t have the capacity to be able to compute and store the volumes of data being held today, or applications that can’t analyze this data volume effectively. Without a solution to this challenge, analytics cannot scale to a level that delivers high performance data analytics. Paul Dunkley (from our Data Integration team) will be our first ‘Beer and Pizza’ presenter on this data dilemma and explain in detail the best of breed Oracle solutions and services available to address these data challenges in our common market.
This is a great opportunity to get an update on some of the key challenges we see in the Data world and understand how you can leverage the Oracle stack to solve these problems. These sessions will also be a great way to network with the Oracle executives and the other partners within the Oracle ecosystem.
